Post alternative to rear blackouts?

I've seen this before, but I'd like some opinions on it. Tint in a can . I know its cheesy. How would it look it i tinted my tail lights with Spray Tint? I love the black out look, but don't want to pay for it.

Thinking about marker lights too. See pics of my car in the sig if you need to know what I'm dealing with.

Dont want to pay for it? I got my taillight blackouts for $20 new off ebay. Much better than a stupid spray paint tint that is hella hard to get off.
