so i was putting my t-tops back on in the dark and couldnt see this morning when i took them off i noticed i broke the small plastic air dam/weather gaurd type deal that is right in front of the t bar next to the windsheilds weather stripping . so my question is...is this piece important? and will my t-tops start leaking now? thanks guys

 

It's really just an appearance/trim thing. Just to keep things looking clean and pretty. It doesn't do anything important for aerodynamics or sealing.

They all get old and eventually crack/break. It should be a $5 part at the dealer. Guessing on that price though... It could be $20.
