Fiberglass bar on our panels?

You know those bars that strip across our cars in the middle? i got a dent right on the side on one.. and its on one of those fiberglass bars... could i just take all those off and remove the adhesive? do some guys do that? and just pop the dent out.. cause the dent is baseball sized, and the top is metal and the middle is that fiberglass bar, and the bottom was metal.. i was thinking to taking that whole bar thats on our cars and using some gunk remover and take off the adhesive? would that work... ?

Yes, that works fine. I removed mine, it was pretty easy. Adds a cleaner look to the car IMO.

SWEET!!! Thanks guys... I'll just remove them. Now out of the blue.. Uhh im thinking a suction cup to remove my dent? i did that with alot on the GTP.... Im not paying what i was estimated for a dentpro to pop it out... i know if that bar was off, i can get a suction cup and remove it myself... damnit wish i had pics....
