98 tails to 93-96 tails....Help!

I sold my altezza tails lights and was wondering what needs to be done to switch to the 93-96 tails on my 98 camaro. Do i need the wiring harness of the 93-96 car or can i use the one thats already on my car and just splice wires....?

You can rewire yourself. I have a writeup. It was a webpage I had, but isn't currently working. If you want, I can e-mail it to you. it's a basic walkthrough with pics of what you have to rewire to make the lights work the same as the pre '97 cars.

Hey, email me your write up too, I hate my 99 tail lights.
Actually I hate any tail lights that have that orange/yellow turn signal color.

Send me your e-mail addressed. The board won't give it to me.

So they function differently? Could you just plug the lights in and use it as is? Or would it look dumb?
I'm asking because I recently bought some. (I'm awaiting their arrival).

Yes, the 97+ taillights have an amber bulb for the turn signal and the red lens for the brake light. The 93 - 96 light use 1 bulb for the brake and turn signal. The writeup I did converted the 2 seperate bulbs so that it works like the older single bulb type. I went a step further and added the wiring for 3 dual fliment bulbs, so the whole thing lights up when you press the brakes, instead of just the center bulb.

Great.
I bought my Camaro with the stock tails. I too can't stand the amber. So I bought Altezzas, which I think look tacky now.

Could you send me the write up?

I just replaced them plain and simple no rewiring and they work fine, they just dont light up exactly the same as the lt1's do, but I don't think its a big deal.
