98-02 Trans am guages

I have a water temp gauge that I installed in my middle vents above the radio on a 99 Trans Am. It is starting to fog up. I very rarely use the upper vents but when I put my defrost on heat still comes out of them and I think that is the problem. What have you guys used to block those vents so nothing comes through them?

I have heard that you can stuff some foam behind the gauge to help prevent the air from reaching it.

Great stuff, buy it at wal-mart or any home depot/lowes. Works great!

Just a chunk of foam rubber... wedge it in the vent.
