98-02 TA Taillights

I have a 95 Formula, I bought some 01 TA Taillights...they will fit directly into my old taillight spot correct? No modifications will be needed correct? Thanks.

Old thread, but they are a direct swap on the Birds, its the Camaros that have issues with the tail lamp harness, all 93-02s Firebird rear lamps are interchangeable.

as are the wiring harnesses. i am running a late model 3057 pop in bulb harness behind my LT1 taillights because when my old harness with 2057 twist in bulbs started giving me issues i called Trans Am creations and they said they don't even sell the 93-97 harness used because of all the issues so i drove down there (when i lived in ft lauderdale) and spent $35 on a used harness with bulbs. its a direct swap.

That's good to know, I'm on my 3rd 93-97 lamp harness in my T/A, factory had ground issues, second one got nasty in the sockets, this one I suppose is holding up fine. When I put the 98+ lamps, didnt have to mess with any thing on the lamp harness. In general since I have had this car, the electrical side has aged the worse.
