i know the 96's had a plaque down on the console, but where did the 97's have them...my window sticker says my car came with a dash plaque but i dont have one...i was thinking about getting one of those nice camaro ss ones that replaces the camaro thats there now...its just annoying that i should have it

 

the 96's were on teh ashtray cover. and numbered.

the 97s I thought were up kinda by the stereo? and were also not numbered.

 

cool thats what i thought...i think the one slp sells that goes above the stereo in the dash is the one it probably came with...slp must have ripped off the original owner or for some reason the first owner took the plaque out...is the "camaro" in the dash glued or attached some other way?...i dont want to mess with it til i get the plaque

 

I'm not sure on the 97s, but my 96's are two sided taped onto the ashtray cover.


I also dont have the camaro on hte dash... and havent been in enough 97+ camaros to remember what it looks like.

Seems like the last owner might have taken it off.

 

On the 97 and up Camaros it's just little plastic clips holding it in. Pop loose the bezel around the radio and you should be able to see how to get it out with no problem

 

concur with LT1. pop out the bezel and you can push it out. some came with one on it others did not. I got the white 30th one from slponline and it looks great with my white car and a few white interior pieces.
