Hi I was interested in hearing from those who have installed a 97+ console in their 93 - 96 Camaro. How large is the gap between the radio bezel and the new console. A measurement would be very helpful. Also, is the color difference noticeable? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

The gap aint to bad, and everyone usually comes up with a different way to plug it up, the gap is maybe 3-4 inches.

Some people put a some type of tray in there like this guys'

Just get creative when you make something to fill it up. Then you can say you have a custom interior

I dunno...multicolored carpet AND multicolored plastic interior? Maybe the slight difference between the plastic colors wouldn't be so bad as long as the carpet didn't have any changes in color. If you're gonna do it...do it right. Just my $.02

If you are referring to the pics that aircop posted - the guy used foam as a filler then cut it off - he doesn't have multicolored carpet.

You might want to check this link out for some more info as well stateless.
