Welcome to the site

What do you mean by "curl up"?

It might just be old and need replacing like you said

well on the passengers side the leather/vinal what ever it is is seperating from the fiberglass. and has curled. I bought a complet dash and put it on and it was also curled. it curls up. it was used so its my fault. I live in CT so the cold and the heat may do it.

But here is some info on the car its a 75 so its 30 years old almost. it has been in storage for like 20 years. it spend 10 years in a garage in flordia and the temp gets real hot so i blame the heat. my best guess. i was just wondering if i buy a new one if it will happen again.

thanks for your help

Yea because buying a new one is just gonna be in the same condition as the one you replaced I would look into getting it recovered either in vinyl or leather if its cheaper than buying a new one I would do that but if not I would buy a new one IMHO
