3rd Brake Light Strobes
What I am wanting to know is what kind of strobes to get and how to install them.I have seen several kinds in the parts stores,but all of them have a control box on them and don't look like it will fit in the hole.
Anyone who has these have you been hassled by the cops for having it.

if you do it only on the 3rd brake light I don't thing the magority of cops will even notice it. but instead of the strobe lights you might want to take a look at one of the relays which makes a bulb flash 6 times a second. it's smaller, cheaper and probably easyer to install.

I get complemented on it all the time (not only from rice burners).
It probably is illegal but I got pulled over once for it and only got a warning, if you do get a ticket it's usually dismissed anyways
I know for a fact that in dallas the police cannot give tickets for "Restrictions on lights" anymore because because of how vague the law is and on account the DA of dallas told me so.
BUT, on the other hand I don't like getting hassled by the police for it when I do, so that's why I'm getting a spoiler with an led tail light. I would just put the bulbs back it but, I like them too much and wouldn't be able to stand going back to just bulbs
when I could have the flashing third brake light mod
EDIT: Also I have seen mini vans and SUV's 3rd brake light flash stock...
