1969 Camaro ground effects?

Hello, I purchased a 1969 camaro out of the junkyard about 4 yrs ago and it has taken that long to get it fully done. It is nothing special, an RS with no matching numbers, so I've decided to customize it. Does anyone know a website where there is some sort of ground effects for the '69? Thanks for your help.

Might have some luck at http://www.pro-touring.com/forum/ I have seen alot of 1st gen. owners post about that place. The only gfx I have seen mentioned were being custom designed for a memeber of LV-Fbody for his project car. The finished car rendering is on this site http://www.t56kit.com/company/50/50/

He goes by the screen name of Teetoe_Jones at our local board http://www.lvfbody.com/forum/index.php

Don't be gay. 1st gens don't need any GFX. Just make it clean and it'll look good. Go wild on the engine/suspension/interior.

Dont do it! Even a plain jane '69 junk yard relic will have some kind of value in the future. A '69 needs ground effects like a Honda Civic needs a 3' wing.

Mehh, that looks pretty lame to me. I think a 69 Camaro with a set of 17's or 18's on it, sitting higher in the back than the front would look really mean and completely demolish whatever look ground effects might have given you.

Re: 1969 Camaro ground effects?

unless its a 72 style i have to agree with everyone else, the cars already have an aggressive stance, and as someone else suggested a nice staggered wheel combo and lowering the front only would make for a nice appearance mod on the 69, especially with the front air dam they already have. But itll be your car in the end so do what suits your style best not everyone else's. I cant tell too much about that gdfx kit in the link above, the cars color is too dark, but it doesnt look horrible *shrug*

I must also admit the intercooler sticking out of the front isnt that bad of an idea, go for that mod while ur at the body kit! then no one will care lol.

Wow, I must be an idiot because I didn't see ANYWHERE in this guy's post where it said, "What do you guys think, should I put ground effects on my car?"

Anyways, to be HELPFUL and RESPECTFUL of the guy's question, here's a pic of the FOOSE Camaro with ground effects:

He made those VERY SIMPLY out of bending flat aluminum, I'm sure you could have the same done...
