If the batteries won't hold a charge, is their an alternate way of having them powered up in the car? I've never used a laptop before and need one for tuning my HSR. Also, would it support datalogging programs and tunercat/tunerpro just fine?

 

you could get a invertor from radio shack for like 20 bucks and plug it in, or buy a battery off ebay for 25-30.

I'm sure the datalogging software would work fine on these, they actually run XP pretty well, but I've never used them for that before. All of the ports work fine on them though.
