FS/FT: Core 2 Duo Gaming Computer

I'm wanting to sell or trade my custom built desktop to get a new laptop. My brother just got a loaded E1705 and I liked it so much that now I want to upgrade myself. Anyway, I just built a very nice rig back in June to test out the Core 2 Duo before it was released. I love this desktop alot, but I just don't use it much. It's fast as hell and does pretty much anything you want on demand. Here are the specs:

$1550 shipped
  • Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 ES Step 5
  • Intel BadAxe 975X motherboard(no mods)
  • OCZ Gold DDR2-800 2gb(2 x 1gb)
  • Samsung SpinPoint 500gb(2 x 250gb) in RAID 0
  • ATI X1800XL 256mb PCI-E
  • Zalman VF-900 Dual Heatpipe VGA Cooler
  • Samsung 16x DVD-RW w/ 5x DVD-RAM and LightScribe
  • Hauppauge WinTV PVR-150 MCE TV Tuner
  • Sabrent 52 in 1 Media Card Reader
  • ThermalTake Big Typhoon CPU Cooler
  • Enermax Liberty 500w Modular PSU
  • ThermalTake Armour Jr. Case(Black)
I spent a little over $2,000 on this when it was all finished. I'd like to think it's worth about $1750 right now. This computer was built professionally with the utmost care. All the wires are carefully tucked away in the case and every heatsink surface has AS5 on it. The computer runs flawlessly and is very fast. It's not quite the ultimate gaming rig, as the x1800XL is not the top card anymore, but it'll still play pretty much any new game at high/ultra high settings. The E6600 has absolutely no problems running at 3.6Ghz day in and day out. It will max out at about 3.9Ghz(it might do 4.0, but I didn't push it too hard). The OCZ memory will hit 1100Mhz without a problem. The x1800XL doesn't overclock that great, but it runs awesome at stock speeds. It hits about 9,300 in 3D'05 and 5,100 in 3D'06. The computer currently is dual booted with Windows XP MCE and Vista Ultimate. I can keep it that way or reformat and just run the OS of your choice. Vista Ultimate is an evaluation version(build 6000), so it is only good until July(according to MS). It's currently partitioned with 2 drives in the RAID, but that's all easily changed if you want it set-up differently. No matter what you run on this though, this computer will do whatever you want and it'll do it fast. This is top of the line without spending thousands and thousands of dollars. Sure, you can get the x6800 or even a quad core, but you're going to end up spending alot more money. This is faster than a stock x6800 at half the price.

TRADE: What I want to trade this for is a 17" laptop with a Core 2 Duo, 7900GS or better, at least 1 gig of RAM, at least a 100gb HD(or a 80gb 7200rpm) and a WUXGA screen. I'd like one that at least has an upgrade to Vista available, or has Vista already on it. I'm willing to consider other 17" laptops but the specs need to be very similar to the E1705 above. This will be my only computer so it needs to be able to game decently and be pretty quick. I don't want to go back to XP as I've already been using Vista for months now, so Vista is pretty important.

PM me or email me(camride at yahoo.com or gmail.com) with offers. Thanks for looking!

Oh, I need to explain one of the photo's. The photo of the PSU, you will see a weird glob of solder on the left rail. I had to add this because the lock wouldn't work because there wasn't enough material on the rail. When you pushed the release with it locked, it'd open anyway. So I added the solder to make the lock functional. If you don't care about the lock I can take the solder off. I will clean it up a little more before I send the computer out, as I never really sanded it down. The only other issue with the case is one of the plastic clips that holds the PCI cards in place broke. You can still secure the cards down with a screw, but I just wanted to make sure you knew that. There is nothing else wrong with anything in this build, those two small things are it.
