Check out the dyno sheet there, pretty close to the 1000 HP mark on the initial tune......
The car is the ultimate sleeper, it had the salad shooters on it untill recently...... Its fairly quiet, the secondary fuel pump makes more noise than the exhaust.
AWESOME car!!!!

his fuel injectors maxed out way before redline, the car will make more power with bigger injectors.

1300 hp in a LT motor why not? This shouldn't be that hard to believe assuming with today's engine parts and way better cylinder head flow. Why should two guy's like Baxter and Madman be able to make 1100 to 1200hp a few years back and this guy not?

Mike Moran built a 1300hp 4 cylinder using a turbo charger why is it not possible for this guy to make it with a twin turbo SB setup? There is a big difference between super charged and turbo charged, its no secrete that a turbo motor can make as much if not more then 5hp per cubic inch. I have a Turbo Charged Hayabusa that has made 429hp at 22lbs of boost the rear wheel all in a 4 cylinder.

I hear everyone talk about the LT1 block will not take big psi or allow big power and all because of one or two guy's say it will not because there combination developed problems. Madman and Mr. Baxter may have had problems with bore shift or what ever the case may be but lets all so not forget the fact that these engines especially Baxter's was in a 3900 to 4000lb car which can have effect on the engine, who know's maybe the engine builder should have filled the block more with filler, either way 1300hp, I can see that happening!

Now just get it to the ground.

Good Luck and go to bigger turbo's.

Looks good, best of luck making your goal. Only one thing though: those welds... . TIG is your friend.

WRT Jim's post: we'll only know if it succeeds when the project is done. And I certainly hope the motor makes the power planned without any problem. But I can't understand why taking a chance with a stock small block with the plan to make 1,300hp.

Sleeper: why did you decide to stick with a stock LT1 casting?

rskrause; I never imagined making this power when the short block was built three years ago. I didnt want to sell everything and go bowtie when i built the TT last winter. At this point the car is still only a street car and I doubt if 1300 is a usable horsepower(on the street) but I wanted it there for future use.

Congratulations! It's an extraordinary effort, no mistake. We just seem to get a lot of "1000 horsepower" dreamers who think Advanced Tech is the best place to unveil their latest Desktop Dyno 2000 creation that's going to set the world on its ear...

The only reaction i have is :

EDIT: how would I go about putting a single turbo in the engine compartment.. Know of a good place to get one?? I already have the battery relocation kit just need to put it in.. I was figuring i could stick it there and have custom pipe running where th k&n is but under the tb infront of the water pump and have the TB pipe running just ontop of that.. Id say about 9PSI would be ok with a stock compression ratio.. Think so??? head work of coarse.

ok everyone keeps asking if this is on an LT1 and like on stock heads and what not.. on your dyno sheet it says that this is a 1994 camaro 383 twin turbo. so you have swapped the stock LT1 block for a 383 correct? yes or no? seems it would be much easier to make that kind of hp out of a 383
