And what of the supercharger now? Certainly if it couldn't flow enough for the mild setup with a HC it'll be way too small for the new plan....before I read that I was going to chime in that if you were doing a 355 w/ a HC that I'd prefer you do a N/A run before setting up the blower just so we all know what could be done w/ those heads on a relatively mild setup......oh well.

I sold the supercharger as well as pretty much the decent stuff off the shortblock.

This setup will start out naturally aspirated and will probably end up with a dose of nitrous later on. I was actually hoping the old motor would last long enough to let me save up for the turbo motor but guess we'll see what a naturally aspirated solid roller will do first.

just out of curriousity,
how does camming work on these things.
there are only 16 lifter holes so its not pushrod anymore is it?

OHC? how are the controlled?

can you get variable timing with them if its DOHC?

It's not DOHC. One cam, but the rockers are forked so one pushroad actuates two valves.

Bobby - are you guys based in Houston? How can I get in touch with you. I am in Houston and have a long, sad story and would like to brainstorm a bit on my 96 T/A.

Thanks
Mark

"Bobby - are you guys based in Houston?"

I'm in the Houston area (Southeast side) near Clear Lake. Drop me a line on email.

UB says he saw the Dom's sitting on a guys motor in the latest Popular Hot Rodding. Does the plot thicken?
