UB Helps BPR Take It To Another Level...

Well...after a long wait it looks the BPR crew will finally do something with the Dominion 32 Valve heads that have been sitting at the shop for over a year now.

Mad props first go out to the 'Unstable One' that has partnered with the BPR crew to bring this focus. We all know UB as a crazed loon but beyond the unstableness Bob is a class act and I'm glad I can call him a friend.

We're going to run the car at the Thunder Shootout with the current combo thats on the car since we won't have time to get the 32v combo together. What's interesting is I thought you guys would get a real kick out of the 32 valve heads on a plain jain lil' hot cam'd 355 with a powerdyne blower on it. So whadda ya think it will make? It's easy to build an all out stroker yada yada but I thought this would make for an interesting write up

Hurry up and get those bad boys on your car. Are you going to dyno your car before and after the 32 valve heads? Good luck on your setup.

Thats actually a good idea. I will try and dyno next week after I put some new valve springs on the car for a baseline.

Ken,

UB is coming through on the header side as you said.

89...I realize the limited cfm of the powerdyne but you have to take a step back and look at the whole purpose. If the powerdyne wasn't already on the car, it wouldn't be going into the mix. But since its already there....why not? It definitely can't hurt. And it actually goes right along with the BPR theme...

Will be curious to see how it all pans out

Glad UB chimed in. I didn't know what his Dom's were going on so I wanted him to speak up before I did

Jason, holler back at me so we can talk about that Friday when you come in.

As for the 'techy' part of this thread....Dominion cometh

Well...looks like I'm not going to be able to do a before and after for you guys cause I just blew up the motor. I also doubt I will use the hotcam in the new motor so sorry guys. I've got the new one on the stand so I'm still shooting to have it together before year's end.

It's a 385.

I was heading down the road and decided to get on it a bit since the air is dry and the sun is shining. Had no traction through a few gears and coasted down to a smokey stop where the car just shut off. I started it back up to pull over and I heard a bunch of metal rumaging through the exhaust and eventually out on the ground. Car was chugging some smoke like I have never seen

I drove it home on what feels like about 7 cylinders with one foot on the gas the whole time and the other on the clutch and the brake. That was quite an experience

I have decided to just put together the solid roller stuff I already had so instead of building something mild its going to be.....well, ya know
