Timing on a carbed LT1

Lightbulb Timing on a carbed LT1

Is there anywhere i can get a timing tab to place on my carbed lt1 motor. ive set TDC on nuymber one and have the rotor pointing to number one on the cap. But i still needs marks to set the initial timing to have it perfect on start up. any help would be awesome

I just made a tab out of a piece of aluminum and bolted it to one of the WP bolts, pointing to the timing marks on my keyed ATI damper.

Doesn't GMPP sell a part that is not only designed to plug the opti drive hole in the timing chain cover but also provides a timing pointer? That should satisfy your requirements. And it looks pretty cool too.
