Stroker rotating assembly question

I am trying to decide how to setup my nitrous 383. I will be using a 150 shot wet. Here is what I am looking for:

1. Callies Dragon Slayer or Cola Pro Series 3.750 stroke I am leaning towards the Callies.

My question is the age old question of rod selection. Do I go with a 5.850 or a 6.0 inch rod??????????????

What do I benefit and what do I lose with each selection?

Once that is determined I am looking for input on piston selection.

Thanks

Michael

Read through Denny McLains post on the first page, regarding 409 ci stroker.

Your topic is discussed in detail there

Yes, this is an age old topic here. I personally would stick to nothing longer than 5.85. That way you can use a ring pack set further from the chamber, which helps in keeping the ring temps down.
