Stealth Ram Pics
Re: Stealth Ram Pics
Mike, your engine compartment looks very clean. Do you plan to clean up the area where you cut the cowl at? I can't wait to see what kind of performance numbers you post.

It looks like that thing almost fits under the cowl. Brett, what would the effect be if the top of the plenum were tapered (lower in the back) in order to clear the F-body cowl. It looks like we'd need about an inch of taper from front to back. May look whonky, but would it work?

Bret,
Quick side intake question, do you feel that adding an additional throttle body would benefit our LT(x) substanialy more so than lengthening the runners. All exotics rides nowadays are integrating a throttle body per cylinder set up. I wonder how our rides would respond to eight separate throttle bodies. Your input would be appreciated. take care

Weiand tunnelram vs Super victor. The HSR is basically this tunnelram with bungs. Check out how the Tunnelram smokes the SV until about 6600 rpm where it loses 2hp but then gains 3 at 7000rpm. Pretty interesting! I wonder how well a Stock LT1 manifold would do against these?
It might be possible to use the HSR lower with a sheetmetal plennum/TB mount, to allow cowl clearance.
