Specific 95 lt1 question. Electrical circuits. help please.
I have a couple of questions.
1. Does anyone know how to properly hook up the reverse lockout solenoid after doing a t-56 conversion and running the pigtail wires to the inside of the car for a later time. I have a 95 camaro z-28 convertible with all power options.
2. I also get a trouble code for the skip shift solenoid and they skip shift light not being there. I know this doesn't hurt anything but if I was to connect a skip shift eliminator would it at least eliminate the skip shift solenoid code (probably not the lamp circuit) that would eliminate one problem. ...
3. Last question for now. ... My engine seems to run fine and if I let it idle for about 5 minutes (maybe a little less) without playing with the gas at all.. it throws a left and right bank heated oxygen sensor lean condition Trouble code (44, 64) and stumbles... then speeds up and goes on running. the time it takes for the "service engine" light to go away varies from a few seconds to a few minutes but it always does. until I park, let the engine idle. then the stumble, and the slight surge and the light comes on and so on and so forth. it is very consistant and my engine seems to be running fine. But this lean condition warning is probably dumping in extra fuel or could be pointing to a very simple problem and solution since it is so consistant.
I just don't know what to deduct from the situation and was hoping one of the seasoned pro's would know. thanks guys, kurt
