Solid roller guys, what springs and pressure you running?
just a heads up, kmook keeps bashing the jesel ss sportsmans, but i have them on my 383 with afr's and 1.550 springs(big!) and have zero issues with clearance anywhere.
im running 943's at 245 on the seat . with a solid roller you want more than what you need because they will be weaker at oper. temps and do always lose some pressure after break in. talk to craig at gtp he will tell you that seat pressure is the most important part . also dont forget that slight issue of missing a shift and sending the rpms to the moon and the limiter!

As stated before, T&D Machine makes good stuff

Depends on how big your cam is!
I am running 280lbs closed and 525lbs open with K motion k-950 spring(lots of shims). With T&D shaft 1.6 intake (offset) and 1.65 exhaust rockers. Lash isn't a problem but the springs only last about 30 passes before they are toast. Everyone needs something different. Different ramp rates, installed heights and lift and duration numbers require different stuff. The more radical or mild you go will dictate different demands on a spring.

personally I'd rather have a pressurized roller bearing like T&D than rely on splash oiling like a jesel...
