s'chargd 383 LT4, loose MAP symptoms?

I have a recently built 383, with a V1 T vortech, and i have had driveability problems. On the latest test drive (with a freshly reprogrammed pcm), the engine felt as if governed at 2800 rpm. On the limp back home, had to run sixth gear on my side road! I noticed a loose MAP, and simply enough, was wondering what some general symptoms of a loose MAP would be. Thanks

a bbk 58mm. but i think its the pcm, a bad program. Scheduled to be looked at by the builder and programmer within the next three weeks. I will post results and conclusions. Thanks if you have any other leads for me though.

The impact of a "loose MAP" (do you mean it wasn't screwed down tight, and the seal was loose, or not there?) on a blown engine is kind of difficult to analyze without knowing what you are using for a fuel management system...... stock or after-market computer...... or an FMU?....... 1 bar MAP sensor, or something else to accomodate the boost?

I would think you would have a better chance of getting this answered on the "Forced Induction" board than here??????
