SBC in a '94

I am about done with my car, WE are about done putting a 383 sbc in a 94 Z28. WE have found that the bolt pattern on lt-1 heads is the opposite of standard sbc heads (front and rear patterns are swapped) So, my accessory brackets won't work. I'm told v-6 brackets will work. If anyone has done this, where did you put the AC compressor? Any help would be appreciated.

Well, I'm going to be driving it daily for about the next 2 years. When i decide to just race it, i'll get rid of the sbc and the AC at the same time for an alloy BBC.

Check with Street & Performance http://www.hotrodlane.cc/

I don't know if the V6 bracket will work but you could easily pick one up at the local wrecking yard. That or at least make a quick test template.

Good luck.
