Re: SB2 LT1 pics
I'm hoping to run 10.20's on the motor and 9.80's on 100 shot. This motor's built to take a 400 hit but I'll probably stick to 300 and below for this year. I dunno, on a 300 shot, maybe 9.20's, maybe quicker. A lot of things come into play when you're trying to go that fast. Horsepower is only a small fraction of the equation. Getting the suspension sorted out takes time. I could end up going 9.60's at like 150+ if I can't get the 60's where they need to be.
The car should weigh around 3475 with me in it and I weigh 215. If I did my homework correctly the motor should make around 750 N/A, hopefully a little more. My goal was to get as close to 1200 on the bottle as possible.

Yeah, I've seen em' make 900+ n/a. Our heads only flowed 380cfm though thanks to the smallish 4.030 bore (they love 4.1+" bores). My cam is a little smaller than his at 270/280 @ .050" .720/.680 113 lsa. Plus he's got 28 more cubes. I'll be happy if it reaches the 750 mark but won't be suprised if it makes 800.
