!

I tnhink you should send them to Lloyd for some porting, all I can say is I have 2 sets of LT1 heads ported by him and he's awesome!

Check out this thread and what he did to AFR 210's that were bare, all for under 2k I bevelive it cost the guy for cores and have lloyd do the porting:

I'm still an ARE fan. The dude rocks! Dude.

Taner,
Craig did a nice job on Mark's LS1 heads. Nice flow numbers...nicer velocity from what I here. Just hope your 227s aren't hacked too far for someone to fix. By the looks of those numbers, you'll probably be good.

Yeah Daren Wlodarczyk(9 sec TA convert.) took his car there to have his F.A.S.T. system installed, they pulled his engine and sold it to another customer as new. Not sure how they thought they would get away with it.

I have seen 10% variations between flow benches here in town.

Please tell me that not even ARE is stupid enough to pull that kinda crap...especially with one of their "signature" clients??

You know....... I'm trying to figure out what they HAVEN'T pulled?

New management, old management.... it's still the same bunch of crooks. Simply blows me away the stories I hear.

pete k offered to redo the heads....the work to be done is already in motion..and I can't take the chance of it not being done in a timely manner, and to my satisfaction. too much has happened

Re: #'s on my AFR 227 ported A.R.E. heads

well i haven't got the actual numberson paper in hand but i spoke to Barry, i picked up a ton on the exhaust side and numbers on intake side are flowing to at least the numbers i would see from a set of cnc'ed heads from AFR. the exhaust side flows better than the advertised numbers from AFR and he is not done yet...now it is time to focus on velocity of the air in the port!

peak at 700 was 308 intake, and 234 exhaust (no pipe) that is just from what he told me from memory. i hope to have the numbers tomorrow. i got lucky, he ported them ahead of schedule as he was getting other big projects coming in all at once!
