Multiple changes.

I'm new so I don't know where to post this. I need to know a few things. Let me give a little information first. I have a 2000 camaro base. The only mods are on the interior, and they're a touchscreen cd player and 2 12 in mtx subs. I would like to change this base to a v8. I want to know what conversion kit to go with or what avenue would you choose. I also need the following so please shoot some ideas at me.

Headlights (i was thinking spyder)
Brakes
Rotors
Rims and Tires (preferably black maybe a little chrome and 18 in)
Exhaust System
Either v8 or v6 to v8 conversion kit
maybe a new carburetor
thinking about a body kit (worried about the scaping)

So please shoot me some ideas and knowledge. I really need some help. Thanks.

Sort of an odd set of planned modifications..... why would you like "a new carburetor"? The V6 engine you have is fuel injected, and the logical replacement V8 (you can't physically convert a V6 engine to a V8 by adding a "kit") would be a fuel injected LT1 or LS1 V8 engine from a similar model F-Body.

In any case, we have a forum for Suspension, a forum for Exhaust, a forum for Wheels and Tires, a forum for Appearance mods, and a V6 Tech forum that has a "Sticky" topic at the top of the page that discusses converting a V6 to a V8.

I would suggest that you go to the V6 Tech forum, and read the thread about engine conversions. Then post individual questions in the appropriate forum regarding wheels/tires, body kit, suspension on the correct forums.

In any case, none of these are "Advanced Tech" topics.
