The bare heads were sent to Hogan's, since they didn't have an AFR 215cc RR pattern. A more common cylinder head would be a different story, I'm sure.

Also what did it cost?
$2,850 with the nitrous bungs added.

I'm in a bit between a rock and a hard spot as I really don't want to go with an aftermarket hood but may have to if no alternative as I understand using a lower profile intake would not produce much in terms of power gains.
I absolutely would not tolerate an aftermarket hood and space was at a premium, so they built the intake with shorter runners than they preferred to meet my requirements, but it worked very well. Then again, you can sacrifice a little low end torque with 396+ cubes in a 2,700 lb. car.

Thanks a bunch!! When you reach a point, this does get a little pricy.

Denny, have you thought about the converted Super Vic's that a few have tried? My understanding from reading and talking to those who did this conversion was it would fit under a WS6 hood.

I'm considering all options and being a Hogan is $2,800.00, (which is a lot of pop bottles to find and turn in) we in fact talked during lunch about either trying to do a Super Vic, a carbed Lt4 manifold or even doing some cutting and welding on an LT4 manifold to get the runner length longer. There seems to be a little more clearance that I origionally thought.

Does anyone have any pictures of a converted Super Vic??

FYI... Hogan was sent flow sheets and dyno sheets and they say the same as Rhere Morrison. But of course...... what would you expect them to say!

Steve Quinn did offer a modded stock style intake, seems like it was less than $2800. Norushracing.com or something like that. Or Brett to make you a Modded Stealthram, you can put a Stealthram on it, I have seen it done. You have to cut the cowl and put a 4 inch cowl hood on. Or do like Dad and I did, pop for one of these:

But the price on that is kinda stiff.
