C'mon, we need a laugh out of this thread!!

Good luck with that new motor, Randy!!
Thanks man with this engine so far its the one thing I need! I just wish getting good luck was as easy as getting all the parts. I would just put it on the Visa! But on a side note my 06 STI put down 301whp and 331ftlbs with only a intake, turbo back exhaust and a tune. Finally a car that worked without complaint.

Let's just do what every LT1 owner does:

Blame it on the Opti.

Well hopefully the msd piece is better. I never had a issue with the opti I swapped mine at like 70k on the original block to the 95+ vented style just because it was really easy at the time. But yeah anything less then 700rwhp is a opti issue from now on!

I think a turbo or 2 may be down the line. We will see what the d1 can do first.

Just something i noticed from the two pics. The lash appears to be set differently on the pics from TFS and the ones from Speed Inc. This may just be the length of the stud but its very difficult to say. and it doesn't seem that the lash settings would have an effect on this. Was speed inc doing the verification with pushrods in place? I can't see the pushrods at all from that picture and it almost looks as though they were doing a mockup without pushrods.
