You can put the Vette valve covers on ANY LT1. Heck, you could put them on an L99 even

i know you can throw any valve covers on any motor but when i was 13 that is what i remembered. Plus when you were in riding behind something with a "corvette engine" the owner is going to be bragging about it. So im just saying that theres been lt1's in boats for many years. Especially in i and v drive inboard ski boats.

Yeah Mastercraft made the corvette boats right? Or was that Malibu? Either way, it had an LT1 (or LS1 on the newer model) with corvette fuel rail covers.

ive been in all sorts of boats over the years. There are so many boat compaines sponsoring contests using their own boat line. but i remember seeing many boats with lt and ls style motors. I know mastercraft and malibu used them, along with tige and supra.

Bad seawater!!! "don't touch my aluminum intake"

Jumping in almost too late with the thread...sorry.

I've had a few boaters here in Maryland ask me about the LT1 and it's cooling circut specifically about the intake manifold. One guy had a cop car motor and thought that it would make a great motor for his boat mostly because the aluminum intake manifold would not touch the cooling system. That is probably a nice bennefit to the LT1-in-a-boat.

Why not?

I'm wondering if they change the exaust valve. alot of boats have the cold water flowing in the exaust manifold and have a 3/8" exaust valve.
