I dont think my fully modded camaro with a 100 shot could take that z06.
All's you need is a procharger or vortech. Just make sure you have forged pistons.

And a Z06 driver to accomodate you by running against you in 4th gear...

Or perhaps an 03' Cobra with a few mods?

I love the quick 2-to-3 honk on the second race. As if he ever stood a chance.

That's great. The 03 Cobra gets spanked badly

Re: LS7 potential

I would like to bring this thread back from the dead to ask a question...
I would think that the LS7 has titanium rods to help with stress forces at those high rpms while keeping up reliability. What kind of peak rpms would you lose if you switched out the rods for some standard powder metal I-beams while still having and engine that can run 100k, 200k, or more?

Re: LS7 potential

Theres gotta be a HUGE weight difference. I would think that it would spin close to the stock RPMs but it wouldnt want to be revved as bad. It would probably pick up a little low end tq too ?

Re: LS7 potential

The LS7 seems to be pretty much maxed out for what it is, a big block in small block clothing. I would not feel comfy putting a blower or nitrous on it, no doubt about that.

Ehh, I would. Then again, I cant seem to resist the urges to modify everything I get my hands on. The only thing that stops me is my empty wallet.
