Personally, I think you would have better luck on "General F-Body Tech and Info".

If you want top-of-the-line? Find one that fits or have one made.

Summit has one that will fit right in that hole, Pops and I measured and considered it, just didnt want the fuel and smell inside the car when street driving. Sump the factory tank, or put a low pressure pump in the stock location.

I suppose I should have assumed he was talking about drag racing. When your sports racing and you have 30 gal. of fuel, essentually in the car with you, you wnat the BEST fuel cell you can afford.

Re: looking for a 4th gen fuel cell

the reason I want it to fit in the trunk is to be able to run duel 4" diameter tubes over the axle and pan hard bar where the stock tank is now. I already sumped the stock tank but really would like the exhaust over the axle.I am going to weld in a special firewall with a sealed trap door for fuel fill and smell thanks!

Why on earth would you need dual 4 inch exhaust? Besides I see no way to run it over the axle on the drivers side anyway unless you use the Dr Gas nascar flat piping, you can make 800 RWHP(or more) with a single 4 inch Mufflex, why would you need 2?

Re: looking for a 4th gen fuel cell

FASTFATBOY If you take a look at the rear of the f-body with the fuel tank removed there is more then enough room to clear everything, pan hard, rear brace and all.As for why, My new engine combo that is almost finished (700-750hp N/A 1000hp300 shot)is calculated to need 3.5 inch duel exhaust to make max power so im running 3.5 inch exhaust from the custom 2" primary headers to the axle into 3.5 inch borla race mufflers. From there it will expand into 4" mandrell bent tubing over the axle to the factory T/A bumper cut outs. I have already mini tubbed the car and built custom floor boards to accomodate 3.5 inch pipe.
