I've searched and read about it, but still have a ? 6.125" rod

I have search and read about running a 6.125" rod with a 3.75" stroke. I would be doing this in a brand new Motown block with what should be a full 9.025" deck. The only reason I am considering the 6.125" rods is because I have come across a killer deal on a set of Lunati pro billet rods. My question is, would I be able to get enough piston above the pin to work properly with a large frame turbo making ~1500hp? Should I just pass on the killer deal and just run a 5.7 or 6" rod instead and play it safe? Thanks for the help guys.

your compression height will be 1.025 which is kinda tight, but it will work.

Talk to your piston manufacturer.

No tech advice, just general advice. When I try to save money it costs me twice as much in the long run.
