Hard Blok a daily driver 396?

Hey guys due to an unfortunate water jacket incident clearancing for my crank my mechanic says that using epoxy to seal the hole and then 1/2 filling with Hard Blok (all maching is already done) will allow it to retain it's strength and won't cause any cooling issues.

I need some expert advise on this.

I think you will have some overheating problems in the hot weather in AZ. My block has had the same treatment and is borderline on a hot day in traffic. And it's not near as hot here in Western NY.

There are multiple threads on this subject. Maybe worth taking a look and if you still have questions after reading them, just join in those threads... no need to have an abundance of the same topic
