computer wiring help.

I put a post up ont the lt1 board today but no one seems to know about this. My question is I installed a pioneer dvd/gps/stereo system and There's a car signal input wire(speed detection circuit) I need it for the gps and the vehicle dynamics mode (tells you your acceleration ,g force ) crap like that. Anyone have a idea ?

If all you are asking for is the location of the PCM speedometer output on a 97 F-Body, go to Shoebox's Tech Pages and look at the wiring diagrams. They are for his 95, but the pin location for speedo output is the same for all years.

You could also try the "Custom Car Audio & Electronics" forum, or "Computer Diagnostics/Programming". Not likely to find it on Advanced Tech..... unless the first sentence answers the question.

if i were you i would contact a high end audio dealer that installs that kind of eqt. they should be trained by the companies and have proper information for installation. you could try the manufacture but i doubt they would have specific info.

good luck
