Compression and Milling Heads

I just cammed my car. The heads are out being ported right now. Also they are out to be milled as well. I was planning on running the Felpro Head Gasket. How much will get me to 11.1~11.2:1 also I am not going to have valve clearance with that will I. I don't think so. But Lemme know.
TIA

The felpro gaskets are .039, correct? Assuming a stock bottom end, you need to get your combustion chamber to around 55cc's to achieve a compression of 11.2:1. So however much milling it takes to get to a 55cc combustion chamber is your answer...I'll leave that one up to the "real" advanced tech people

With a stock bottom end don't waste your time with the Fel Pro's at that thickness. Get the Imppy gaskets at around .021 and you will get a little more compression but much better quench which will allow you to run more compression.

The cam will tell you part of the P/V clearance tale.

Use that calculator at Ross's site. The stock LT1 pistons are about -5cc dish. If I remeber right, but I might not have.

I believe you remove 1-1.5 cc of combustion chamber for each .010" you mill off the heads. Hopefully that will help you plug in the correct numbers into the calculator.
