Re: Camshaft

SSTROKERCE...I am thinking about just going with the LTX intake, i know it's 1500 bux but i dont know about this one i have, just don't rally know if i trust the guy who made it..lol

Should i go with the SR or do i need to just run a HR?

I don't fear the rpm's and I am trying to be realistic with everything but is the SR worth the pain it will put on the engine/valvetrain?

Thanks, Barry

Re: Camshaft

You can do either the SR or HR in this setup.... the problem really is the 7500rpm and the streetablity.

I agree. That does seem like too much head for his displacement. I think he needs to stroke it!

Re: Camshaft

I appreciate all the help guys. A guy came buy today and bought everything(heads, short block, etc.). I guess it's back to the ole drawing board. I'm going to sit out this year and not race and get the car ready for what i really wan't to build anyway which is a 400 sb with mucho BOOST! I started not to sell the engine but when the $100 bills started laying on the work bench i just couldn't resist. Once again thank's for the help. Barry

Re: Camshaft

I think he had the infamous Cranes, but if I remember right it was 3 different setups with problems.
