Cams and tuning

Hey,I’m trying to get a cam ordered for my lt1 383.i would like to go with a smaller solid roller but not shur if I’ll be able to tune the car,I have heard you run into problems with knock sensors?.is there any of you running a solid roller with a ported stock lt1 intake and are you haveing issues tuning it?what are thinks that I need do look for in getting a camshaft?.im trying to run a set of Africa’s street port heads with a stock lt1 ported intake.helpful advise please

Assume you mean AFR 195cc Street Port heads......

I meant afr 190 street ports.. when I talked to crowder today they recommended going with a 235/245 112+4 565 lift hydronic roller.said I would have tuning issues any bigger..I’d like to get a cam ordered so trying to figure out what a person can get away with,when using the stock lt1 intake ported..the shaft I’d like to run is a 249/259 112+4 596 lift solid roller.
