Blowproof Can & Long Finger Iron Disk Clutch
Blowproof Can & Long Finger Iron Disk Clutch
Mcleod apparently has the bellhousing available now. I think it may be possible to convert to a long finger style adjustable PP and use a Iron disk. Has anyone tried this yet or have experience with adjustable PP and iron disks?
Street Twin just seems too violent for weekly bracket racing and I'm looking for something a bit more controlable.
Thanks
Steve

Red at Mcleod says he can fix me up. Here's what it'll take
1) Standard Small block scattershield
2) Adaptor plate scattershield to T56
3) Convert LT1 T56 to LS1 input shaft
3) Mcleod Softloc w iron disk - long finger adjustable 10.5 Dia.
4) 157 tooth flywheel
5) Mini Starter for the Smaller Flywheel
6) T5 style internal hydraulic bolt on Throw Out Bearing (modified for correct length)
Phew!! Not easy but do-able
After watching and talking to the Pro-Stick guys this weekend this seems to be the ticket for some awesome launches.
I just might have to give this a try this winter. I'll probably be serial number 1 and end up like the Indian with the arrows in his butt. But, what the hey, the Steet Twin's about toast now anyway.
Wish Me luck!
