Blown 420 into a 95, need some advice

Hi all, I'm picking up a slightly wrecked 95 v6 camaro and I'm going to be putting a 420 small block in it with a F2 procharger. I was wondering about the clearence issues with the carb/distributor and the cowl. I was just going to cut that section out and make an indention in the shape of a box big enough so i can get in there to mess with timing and change jets and such. I did a search and didn't get any help from that and i hope this is advanced enough to be in this forum.

The carb is a 1050 dominator and the distributor is a msd pro billet. I was thinking of going fuel injected but I like carbs better since i know them much more then fuel injection. Thanks for the help.

if you search more, you'll find that some people are using distributors without cutting anything at all. The motor has to come in from the bottom of the car, but it's certainly doable. (Many people actually prefer to swap motors from the bottom verses the top anyway...). You'll have to have someone mod your stock intake if you run the stock intake, but most anything is possible.

I think BMR makes a SB motor mount K-member that moves the engine forward... It may have been a dream, though...
