A3 Swappers, what shifter cable lenth?

A3 Swappers, what shifter cable lenth?

What shifter cable lenght did you guys run? mine is the 4ft that came with Hammer, it seems to be tough to shift, or when it is connected it is tougher to shift. I have wide hoops but wonder if a 5ft one would be better....what did you use?

Hey Shon, well I used a 2 ft cable with my Turbo 350 and B & M rachet shifter. HTH

I used the 5ft cable that came with my setup. Its a Star shifter. I had to run it from the floorboard, around the tranny, and back to the other side where the lever is. Mine isnt hard to shift at all.

I have the B&M Pro-Ratchet. I bought it used, with the cable, so not sure what the length is, but I would guess at least 5'. It goes out the front of the console, loops completely around the trans from front to back on the passenger side, then loops back forward to the valve body. I think you can see it in these pics:

Cheston. Im not going to be at the Street Kings Shootout. Funds are running low after this install.

Fred, thats the 5ft cable alright. Its routed just like mine. Well, cept I dont have the nice GV OD to route under (I wish I did!!).
