I've seen cast steel Scats that have gone boom with only 415hp run thru them, it's ugly takes out some blocks, rods, pistons, valves.

Basically the cast Scats are strong, but when a crank goes it takes out a lot of stuff.

You got me there... "Cullys".... I haven't seen that name before, but a web search turned up a link to Cully bicyle pedals and cranks. I assume you mean this article from:

Summit Street & Strip Featured Vehicle

..........
But Ed Parker has changed that. He's a respectable citizen by day, running a company that stripes asphalt parking lots in the greater Columbus, Ohio area. But on the weekends, he turns into "Fast Eddie," and tears up asphalt a quarter mile at a time in an eight-second, street-legal 1967 Camaro........

Anyone else know "Cullys"?

Anyone think this is a cast steel crank?

Just looking over the Shafiroff website, he is a distributor for Callies, Lunati and Eagle crankshafts.

You would have to have a billet or forged crank to run a 632 cube engine. I don't know of a casting (usually high volume) that would work to make that kind of cubes. (I think a 632 uses a 4.75" stroke!)

Never heard of "Cullys" either. Could be a new manufacturer though as crankshaft machining centers are becoming more plentiful these days. Dunno but yes, it takes a 4.75 stroke.

Take care
