220 protopline with HSR?

I am building a boosted 406, and would like to know if the protpline 220 heads will mate to the HSR without hacking any runners? I've heard yes and no, so which is it?

I just did finished a miniram for a set of pro action 220's. required welding and port recontour. Knowing the HSR, I would recommend the same for best results

Really? Bummer. What is it that keeps the 220 head not work, even though it is a 23 degree head. Are the ports, just that much larger than the manifold ports, or is this a marginal difference? Also what kind of H.P. difference would I be looking at if I chose the 200cc head with like a stage 2 or 3 port?

I know that a set of protopline "235" will and can be made to fit the LT-1 or Ram Jet EFI intake.I am not familar with what a HSR is.
They will also do a bunch of carb intakes.

Holley Stealth Ram. Holleys fuel injected manifold. Which is what I'd really like to stay with.

<-----in total agreement with airflow development. To port it CORRECTLY to that big of a port you are going to have to weld up all the ports, port them to the head, and then mill it all flat. Its a lot of cost to do it.

So the cost /to worth it ratio, proabably isn't worth it? Then maybe a heavily modified 200cc head is the way to go?

I guess it depends on who is doing the job. I do the mini-rams /LT-X for $250. I would not think that a HSR would take much if any more time. For that kind of money I would think it would be a no brainer, if not just for the HP reason, but for the charge distribution reason. Obviously though HP gains are dependent apon application.
