Question $200 shaft rockers?

I can't belive these are any good... but some guy on eBay is selling CAT shaft rockers for SBC at $200.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevy...hippingPayment

Has ANYONE here ever run CAT shaft rockers in a performance application?
With CompCams and Jessel SS shaft rockers coming in around $800 I can't believe this is legit. Am I just out of touch?

(and does anyone know if the LT1 can use SBC shaft rockers... I thought the LT1 may have 0.100" offset can't recall though)

Even if they aren't junk, $200 on ebay is no deal - they are $225 on the CAT website.

I breifly owned a set of 1.65 SA CAT roller rockers, I bought them just to put on the intake side of my old cam only setup. They were so cheesey I was nervous running them for a few hundred miles after finding out they failed and took out a friend's motor. Later measuring also showed they were 1.6 ratio not 1.65 and CNC motorsports who I bought from did not care about that fact. That should tell you how bad they are, not that they were out of spec but the fact they didn't care.

Cheap or not, they're certainly better packaged than Crower's shaft rockers.

When I opened the box my Crower rockers came in, it looked like the end result of a tornado in a trailer park.

The box was new and unopened, all the hardware was obviously new and in original bags, and the parts were obviously unused. Looks like poor packaging of an ~$1,100 set of shaft rockers to me.

I have a buddy that bought a set and I told him the same thing, you get what you pay for.

I have a set of T&D shaft mount rockers on my '69 Camaro and I spend a **** load of money for them but the quality is awesome!

I coundn't believe it when he told me he found a set for $200 and he bought them and is going to try them out. I'll keep everyone posted once he has everything running and how they hold up.
