Will this bodykit work?

Hey, I just found this site, seems pretty cool!!
Anyways, I just got a 1982 camaro, and I was wondering if I'll be able to use this bodykit.
http://www.americansportscardesigns....n_camaro.shtml
The one on top for 998$ or whatever.

It says
"Z-28 Turbo Body Kit. Includes front fenders, rear qtr panels, rocker panels and front spoiler. Fits 82-84. Mods needed on front spoiler and rear qtr panels when installing on other models."

now does anyone know what it means by "mods needed on (other models)" Does that mean other years of the z28? or does it mean on non-z28's or what? 'cause I really want this bodykit, but I don't have a z-28, it's just a "standard" camaro. And is a z-28 turbo just the name of the body kit or is there a z-28 turbo modeled car?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

BTW I have a "standard" camaro, but we're putting a 350 in it here soon, and a kickbutt stereo, so I'm happy with my non z-28

Will it work? Yes. Should it even be made? No.
It says '"Fits 82-84" which would make me think it would work with no mods. But it says "when installing on other models?" Call them up and ask. I'm sure they'll help you out. Welcome to the board!

Yeah, I wanna call them but they're closed on the weekends

and it does look really cool though! I will heed your advice and definitely think about it. Maybe I'll just get a front an rear spoiler, as the base model camaro doesn't even have the spoiler.

Thanks, and any more input is not unwelcome

You don't need to get that kit. It's a pitiful attempt to make a Camaro look vaguely like a C3 Corvette. You can smear some Bondo on your stock fenders and contour it out and get the same look for about $40.

Just get their SS hood and a 91-92 style "high rise" factory spoiler. Everyone in town will love it.
