When rebuilding ?'s

When rebuilding ?'s

Do i need to fill the block up with coolant before i put the t-stat on so that it will have some in the block before i put the engine back in the car? Thanks

Put engine in the car then fill up with coolant.

Thanks. So i imagine the coolant flows from the bottom rad to hose, through the engine, and out the top, correct?

For the most part, yes. Unless you have something like an LT1 which is reverse cooled. Also some of it goes to the heater. Just fill up the radiator and crank the engine over a bit with the ignition coil disconnected so it moves it a little and fill it again. Then run the car and keep filling till it stops needing coolant
