What harmonic balancer and timing chain?

I'm not sure what to use for a timing chain and damper. The Timing chains vary from a 40$ summit generic to a 400$ brand name chaim. I'm also not sure what size or type of harmonic balancer to use. What effects the type of balancer you use? The rev range would be from like 1500-5500. If they are going to have minimal effect on the build then I'm not worried, but if I'm going to lose in excess of 25HP then it would become worth my time/money to make sure I chose the right part the 1st time.

thnx

$400 is insane for a timing chain. A Cloyes true roller is the one to go with IMHO. Go to Jeg's website and search for part #220-9-1145. It'll run you about $60 shipped.

As far as balancers go, I'm a big fan of Fluidampr, but that's just me.
