LT1 in third gen wanting to add cruise

i am almost done and that is one of the remaining ends, i tried 2 other boards with no help.

I think you should use the 95 system , and just modify/adapt the
switch in your car to work with it

If you're using the 92 harness and ECM - that's what you use. If you're using the 95 harness and ECM - that's what you use. The cruise picks up it's vss signal and ground from the ECM. 92 & 95 ECM's were programmed slightlty different for cruise function.

I would have to say since the motor anbd tranny is from a 95 you should use the 95 equipment. Your 92 has a cable cruise where "I think" the 95 uses an electronic cruise setup. I know on my 93 motor there is a spot on the throttle body for the cable cruise setup, but 93 also didnt have the 4L60-E tranny.

actually im using the 92 tranny, which is a 700R4, not the 4L60E from the 95. im sure that will make a difference.

So it has a a different year throttle body on it though right? (not 95). If this is true then you should be able to use your third gen setup.
