Re: What did you pay to tint back window?
I payed $80 for the whole car. The guy hooked me up a little because I was recomended by a friend but Im sure anyone could have got it done for $120 or less. All one piece, looks great.
Re: What did you pay to tint back window?
I paid $120 to have all the windows in the TA done 15% black. I couldn't tell you if the back is 1 or 2 peices because he's THAT GOOD.

Re: What did you pay to tint back window?
they estimated 225 for 5 percent all the way around for me....this is a highly respected vinyl shop tho. Our windows are actually a dream for the guys that are really good at it....they whip it on like nothin...
Re: What did you pay to tint back window?
$225. ?!?!?!?
Holy ish ! I can get it done ANYWHERE within at least 50 miles for $160 at the MAX. And I had mine done by the best in the area. He's doin' the SLK when I got the extra dough.

Re: What did you pay to tint back window?
is it 5% tint? because the darker it is, the more expensive it is...this guy did like 5 of my friends cars, and the edges are cut so perfectly, 225 is well worth it...IMO
Re: What did you pay to tint back window?
It doesn't matter what percent it is. It's all the same price, unless you get titanium or something extra special. Even then, I'd have paid maybe $160-$170.
Re: What did you pay to tint back window?
oh, well this shop, the higher the percent, the higher the price. you can get 5 windows tinted for like 100 bucks at this shop if you only want 35%....I wonder why they charge more for darker tint. Oh well, its pretty much the only good shop in the area....
Re: What did you pay to tint back window?
I spent $200 on my last 92B4C, but this included the windshield too ($50 extra). I also went with 3M tint which is a higher grade, guarantee'd to never discolor or bubble. My 91Z28 was $150 because I didnt do the windshield. I know of cheaper shops but I goto this one guy because he's really good. He does the rear hatch windows in 2 pieces but you can't tell from the outside. The compound curves in the rear hatch make it hard to tint those windows. Alot of shops around here flat out refused to do it when they saw the car. I went with 50% windshield, 5% sides and rear on that old B4C and 5% sides and rear on the 91Z28, all of which are highly illegal where I live. Meh!! hahaha
