I have read on here that alot of peopel recomend the holley 670 CFM TB just curious as to what the stocker was for a 90 305 TB car. my car now has a basically frsh rebuilt 350 with the LT1 cam in it but seems to fall off pretty bad above like 3800.

I've heard that if the rating is converted to the same scale as carbs, it is around 370-400 cfm, the one from a 454 is near the holley's 670 (same 2" bores)

 

Thx for the info guys, now to use the holley or the 454 TB what intake has to be used?

 

you need an aftermarket TBI intake that has 2" openings, or a carb intake and an adapter w/2" openings

you may also be able to open up the holes in a stock intake, but it will still be restricted in the rest of the intake

 

you will also need the wiring connectors of a truck, since both the holley unit(designed for the truck) and the 454 one have different connectors on the sensors

 

400cfm is stock with the 1 11/16" bores
