What 60-foots can I expect

Hey guys. Fresh th350 with a 3000 stall converter, 3.27 gears, 3600 lbs, LCA, LCA RB, SFC, Solid PHR, urithane T/A bushing, ET Streets, no sway bar, 355 with victor heads, solid roller, victor intake. I am hoping I can somehow have the power to pull a 1.85ish 60-foot. I did that in my '94 with 4.10s, manual trans, stock LT1 motor and same suspention mods.

It can definitely be done. I managed a 1.9x with my car (stock) on a regular ole street tire. Goodyear Eagle GT II's.
Good Luck.

I don't think that traction will be an issue, more like the power or the lack of steep enough gear for a 355 motor. The 3.27s will be too tall for that motor I think. The ET streets hooked very well on the LT1, so like I said, traction should not be an issue.

mabye some 3.73's would be better for that setup? keeping it on the streetable side as well

Well, my x-gf wrote off my '94, so as far as I can tell, the T56 seems ok. SO, the plan is to swap that trans into the '88 by the end of summer. Some 4.10 or 4.30 gears will go in then, probably in a form of a Ford 9". But, for now, all I got is a th350 and 3.27s.

1.85 is pretty easily obtained. When my car was stock, I was cutting high 1.8's with Firestone Firehawks.

After swapping LCA's and panhard rod and going with Nitto Drag Radials, I was doing 1.6x with a best of 1.65.

This is with a stock motor and converter? Not bad, I hope it works out.

If you can foot brake your car to near 3000 RPM and your motor has decent torque then you should cut under a 1.85 all day long. Good luck.
